Spring bringer ねこやなぎ

I feel that spring is going to come when I see asparagus at supermarkets and this salix gracilistyla. In German it is called Palmkätzchen, cat palm. It is interesting that both of German and Japanese people have imagined cat from this texture. Unfortunately there is no fish which represents spring in Austria such as scomberomorus niphonius, which is written in the combination of two single letter "fish" and "spring".

ねこやなぎと、スーパーでアスパラガスを見ると、春が来たなと感じる。ドイツ語では猫椰子。ドイツ語と日本語で、その肌触りから同じように猫を連想するというのが面白い。 残念ながらオーストリアでは春を連想させる、日本の鰆のような魚は手に入らない。
