Waldvierteler Fest ヴァルドフィアテル物産展

After work I went to Heldenplatz to the Waldvierteler fest. Waldviertel is the name of the area in the Lower Austria, it means "forest quarter". From Waldviertel, my favorite Schrems beer, or Zwettel beer had their tent.

仕事帰りにヘルデンプラッツの ヴァルドフィアテル物産展に行く。ヴァルドフィアテルというのはロワーオーストリアの地域の名前で、「森の地域」という意味だ。ヴァルドフィアテルからは大好きなシュレムスのビールに、ツベッテルのビールがテントを出していた。

There are folk bands to play at the stage, singing songs in dialect. Honestly I did not think that so many people would be there. Some are in traditional Dirndl or Trachten.

フォークバンドがステージで、方言で歌っている。こんなにたくさん人が来ているとは思っていなかった。何人かはオーストリアの定番衣装のドィァンドゥルにトラッハテンを着ている。

Of course I first got a glass of Schremser beer, and then tried to find a place to eat something. There were tables and standing tables, but almost all were occupied. I happened to find a table and sat there. I could have asked people at the same table to keep watching while I fetch food, but I actually did not.

もちろん最初はシュレムスのビールを手に入れる。それから何か食べるのに座る場所を探そうとする。テーブルに、立ち飲みようのテーブルもあったが、どこも一杯。なんとか空いたテーブルを見つけてそこに座る。同じテーブルの人に頼んで、食べ物をとりに行く間に席を見ていてもらうことも出来たが、止めることにした。

The festival goes on and on, they drink, eat and talk talk talk for three days.

お祭りは続く。3日間ひたすら飲んで、食べて、話す。

Legend of.... 伝説の。。。

Awsome music film from 1997 from Montreux jazz festival shown at City Hall today. If there were the same concert now, it can cost more than 1000 Euro. Marcus Miller, Eric Clapton, David Sanborn, Joe Sample and Steve Gado. I knew it was the film but I was not able to stop clapping hands.

今日の市庁舎前のコンサート録画、1997年はモントロージャズ音楽祭から。今こんなコンサートがあったら、1000ユーロ以上するだろう。マーカス=ミラー、エリック=クラプトン、デイビッド=サンボーン、ジョー=サンプルに、スティーブ=ガド。録音とは分かっていても拍手を止められなかった。

La nozze di Figaro フィガロの結婚

I was at the film festival at the city hall. This event is very loved even by local people. There are lots of tent to get different kinds of foods there, too. The film starts at dusk, so the opening time is getting earlier for 10 minutes week by week.

市庁舎のフィルムフェスティバルに行く。このイベントは地元の人にも好評だ。出店ではいろんな種類の食べ物を楽しめる。映画は暗くなってから始まるので、週毎に開始時間が10分づつくらい早くなっている。

After having a fried noodle with shrimps and a glass of beer, I enjoyed the film for three hours. So a huge screen but I was able to see very clearly in detail; the original film quality is really good. It is the movie taken in the theater in Zurich last year, and it might be even better to sit at the real theater to see the fine facial expresson of actoresses and actors.

えび焼きそばにビールを頂いた後、3時間の映画の楽しんだ。こんな大きなスクリーンでも細部までくっきり見える。もともとの映像の質が高い。昨年チューリッヒの劇場で録画されたものだが、劇場に座って見ているよりも、演劇者たちの表情がよく分かる。
