Last day in Steyr

I stayed in Steyr to hand over my sofa to a person, then I had only vacant rooms in my apartment. I took a walk around my neighborhood, went to the forest I used to take a walk all through the year, said hello and thank to the people in the Chinese restaurant close to my house, they treated me as if I were their family member. Their children are so tamed to me, it was hard to tell them that I would not come back to Steyr, maybe they are still too young to understand what I would say. I still clearly remember when I first saw more than a dozen trouts tossing each other in this narrow and shallow brook with their fin on the back above the surface of the water but maybe I cannot see them this year. And it is the start of the Schubert festival in Steyr.

As I could have mentioned in another entry, Steyr is the city where Schubert composed his trout quintett and his apartment is in the city square called Schubert house. It was always joy for me to see trouts here, they are safe and have no fear of being caught; it seems to me that there is a strict fishing license along this river.
