Craft beer fest クラフトビールフェスタ

Baseball game planned to umpire was canceled by the bad weather, I went out to the craft beer fest on the Danube channel. It was so cold that day, but there were lots of people there.

野球の審判の予定が悪天候のためキャンセルになった。それでドナウ運河沿いで行われていた、クラフトビールフェスタに行ってみる。とても寒かったが、それでもたくさんの人がいた。

There were 15 tents and at each tent we can enjoy beer from different micro brewery. Going down on the bank, I slightly got worried if somebody could fall into the channel after drinking a lot.

15あるそれぞれのテントでいろんな小規模ビール工房のビールが楽しめる。河岸に降りると、飲みすぎて運河に落ちる人が出てきやしないかと少し心配になる。

 

At first, visitors were asked to buy this beer glass of this event and some plastic coins for 10 Euros. At each tent we would pay for beer by this coin. We can only be served beer in this glass.

まず最初にこのイベントのビアグラスとプラスチック製のコインを10ユーロで購入。どこのテントでも支払いはこのコイン。それからこのグラスにしかビールを注いでもらえない。

I did not have any problem from which tent to start; just from right to left for each.

どのテントから行こうかと悩むことはない。右から左へ全部飲むぞ。

Drinking beer in the tent, a man with a mant came in. It was the Conrad Seidl, aka Beerpope, a very famous beer commentater in Austria and he maintain the Internet site "Beer Guide". Once I asked him for shaking hands at a beer pub 1516 in my neighborhood. He ranks beer pubs and publishes certification like Michellin Guide, gives number of beer glasses but stars.

テントの中でビールを飲んでいると、マントを羽織った人が中に入ってきた。コンラード=サイドゥル、ビール法王と呼ばれている、オーストリアではとても有名なおじさんだ。ビールガイドというインターネットサイトの管理者でもある。一度家の近所の１５１６というビールパブで握手してもらったことがある。ビールパブをミシュランガイドのように評価採点するが、星ではなくビアグラス。

Oh, I think I have seen this before... It was the beer I had in Rome. It was a happy surprise!!

あれ、これどこかで見たことがあるような。。。ローマで飲んだビールだった。嬉しい誤算！！

The organizer told me that they are going to have this again in October.  Welcome again!

主催者がまた10月にやるよと言っていた。大歓迎です！
