Save Tuna fish マグロを救おう

I forgot that supermarkets will be closed on May day, I went out and tried a sandwitch shop for the first time near my apartment, found an interesting menu there;

Tuna fish is threatend with extinction,
We give up eating them.
We save tuna fish together!

I read news in Japanese sites that many people were worrying about tuna fish that its import was supposed to be banned due to the recent excessive fishing worldwide. I remember that a Japanese university research institute succeeded last year to culture pacific bluefin tuna after more than 30 years. Japan is proned to be blamed by other countries, they started the research for that. The survival rate after hatch is still very low and is expected to raise it quickly as possible. There is also another information from Europe. Any way, I really wish that we can continue to eat tuna fish.

By the way, to my additional surprise, I saw mattcha late there which I thought I can have only at Japanese tea shop near Naschmarkt. It was a happy surprise. In addition to that, I read the history about Bagel how it was developed and started in Vienna, similar story about croissant which is connected to the victory against Turkey. It was quite interesting.

メーデーにスーパーが閉まるのをうっかり忘れていたので、サンドイッチを食べに家の近くにある店に初めて入って、そこで面白いメニューを見つけた。

日本のサイトで、近年のマグロの過剰な採取で輸入が禁止されると、マグロが食べられなくなるんじゃないかとたくさんの人が心配していたのを読んだ。去年ある日本の大学の研究機関が３０年の歳月をかけた後に完全養殖に成功したという記事を読んだのを覚えている。日本はとかくほかの国から非難を受けやすい。彼らはそれで研究を始めたらしいが、まだ孵化後の生存率が低いようで、それが課題になっているようだ。ヨーロッパからはこんな情報がある。いずれにせよ、マグロを食べ続けられることを願ってやまない。

時に、うれしい誤算。そこで抹茶ラッテがオーダーできるとは思いもしなかった。ナッシュマルクト近くの日本のお茶屋さんでだけ注文できるかと思っていたが。。。それにそこでバーゲルにまつわる話を読む。クロワッサン同様、トルコとの戦争に勝利したことに関係しているようだ。面白い。
