アパートのある近くはよく知っているので、特に近所を探索する必要はない。ちょうど７年前、就労ビザの発行を待ちながらウィーンに滞在していた。ウィーンにいたのは６月だったから、庭はもっとカラフルだった。６ヶ月必死でドイツ語を勉強し、就職活動やら面接をした後で、ビザの発行は順調に進んでいるのを知って、気が楽になったことを記憶している。
The Russian soldiers' monument is still under renovation, seven years ago I often came here and sat on the bench by the fountain, reading papers.
The water will be pumped up to around 10 more meters high, very comfortable to sit on the bench to feel fresh cool air. Maybe it will be finished by the start of high season. This year is the 140 deplomatic anniversary between Astro-Hungarian Empire and Japan. Lots of evens are planned both in Austria and in Japan.

ソビエト赤軍戦士の記念碑はまだ改修工事中。７年前はよくここに来て、噴水の脇にあるベンチに座って新聞を読んでいた。噴水はだいたい１０ｍ位の高さまで上がり、ベンチに座って新鮮な空気が味わえるのは心地よかった。旅行のハイシーズンが始まるまでには工事も終わっているだろう。ことしはオーストリア・ハンガリー帝国と日本が外交を始めて１４０年目の記念年に当たる。オーストリアと日本の双方でたくさんの催しが計画されている。詳細はリンクをごらん頂きたい。

The Belvedere palace is still under renovation, invested lots of money on that and it is a very long-term project to realize the garden due to old sketches long time ago.
ベルベデーレ宮殿も改装工事中。昔のスケッチを元に庭を以前のように再生するというプロジェクトに多額の資金がつぎ込まれている。
Seven years ago 2002, it looked like that but from the other side of the palast. I will take the pictures again in the season, currently fountain has already been renovated and garden is now under work.
７年前の２００２年、ベルベデーレはこんな風だった。（写真は建物の裏側から）花が綺麗に咲いたらもう一度写真を撮る予定。今は噴水が復旧され、庭も作業中。
Next to the Belvedere there is the botanic garden. Japanese cherry trees are there, too. Many people are jogging through the park. I like to walk in the forest, but in this "forest" there I can see lots of human beings instead of squirrels ;)
ベルベデーレ宮殿の隣には植物園がある。日本の桜の木もある。たくさんの人が公園の中をジョギングしている。森の中を歩くのは好きだが、この"森"にはリスじゃなくて人がたくさんいる。;)
