My friend happened to diagnose me briefly a few weeks ago maybe just out of her interest or curiosity. Since then I got interested in that very much because of the concept. My first impression was, it could be the bridge between Western and Oriental medicine.
数週間前、友達が個人的な興味からか簡単な診断をしてくれた。それ以来、そのコンセプトからバイオレゾナンス療法に興味が非常に湧いた。最初の印象は、これは西洋と東洋医学の接点ではないか？というものだった。
Usually we would go to hospital (not very true for me) when something is wrong. And sometimes it is too late and part of our body should be cut. This is basically the idea of Western medicine that part of your body can be replaced or removed where caused something bad to our body. But it will not change the source of the body which brought the patient to that situation.
普通、何か体に異常が見つかると医者に行く。（自分に関しては必ずしもあたってはいないが）そして時々手遅れで、医者に体の一部分を切ってもらうことにもなる。体にとって悪影響をもたらした部分を交換したり切除する。これが基本的な西洋医学の考え方。でも手術では患者の体がそういう状態になった本当の原因を変えるわけではない。
In Japan we are so familiar to Kanpou, old Chinese herbology and existence of "Chi" as well as the one in martial arts, and how our mental status will influence our body ability and even sense. This therapy has to do with energy flow (frequency of your body parts) which reminded me of "Chi" and I saw a figure of our body parts on the wall which we can often see at acupuncturists.
日本では中国の医学、漢方、それから武道などでもそうだが"気"の存在についてはよく知られている。そして精神状態が我々の身体能力や更には感覚にまで影響することについても。この療法はエネルギー（体の部分が発する振動周波数）を取り扱うもので、"気"の流れを思い起こさせた。壁には針灸師のところでよく見られるような、体の部分とその相互関係に関して記された図が掲げてある。
I have a big scar on my forehead even it is not very conspicuous, since I had an operation on my brain 13 years ago. I had had really very hard time after that, I had been constantly suffering from terrible headache, tension of half of my face where and around where it was opened, sometimes even nausea. For first three years I possessed a special weather forecasting ability to predict rain very precisely. My body worked slowly but hard to cure by himself, the symptom got much lighter by now.
However when I I get very tired, such the symptom will appear even now.
１３年前脳の手術を受けて以来、額にははっきりとは見えないものの大きな手術跡がある。それ以来常にひどい頭痛、手術箇所近辺の額、顔面皮膚の硬直、さらにはたまに吐き気に悩まされ続けてきた。最初の３年は雨が降るのを非常に正確に予知できるという能力まであった。あれから１３年、今では症状はずいぶん軽くなったものの、疲れたときにはそのサインとして未だに表に出てくる。
My friend's mother is specialist on this bio resonance therapy. Therefore my friend also knows much about it, she also took the seminar on that. Yesterday her mother diagnosed me completely, it took almost about two hours. My friend told me all the time that my diet does not have any problem from what I usually cook. But the diagnose told me much more of my body tendency or current status and was very interesting for me.
友達の母親はバイオレゾナンス療法の専門家だ。それで友達もそれに詳しく、セミナーにも参加している。昨日は彼女の母親が時間をかけて検査をしてくれた。２時間ほどかかっただろうか。友達はよく、自分が普段料理するものを見る限り食事には何の問題はないと言ってくれている。診察は今の自分の体の傾向と状態をもっと細部まで教えてくれるもので、とても興味があるものだった。
What was very interesting to me was, the reaction of the instrument or in other words, reaction of my body to the action of the instrument around my old scars. I have some several scars on my hand which I got during my motorcycle drive or sports, and I have some others from operations such as appendix and tumor.
面白かったのは、計器の反応、というか計器の働きかけに対する自分の体の反応が、体の古傷の部分でとても顕著に現れることだった。手にいくつか、バイクやスポーツをしていたときにした怪我があり、そのほかには盲腸と頭の手術痕。
The instrument reacted so peaky when the electrode goes slowly on them, especially at my scar on forehead. And to her opinion, it still blocks my energy flow or even blood flow around my head. This is what I can easily understand from my experience in the past to see what happened to my body since then.
計器は、電極が傷の上をゆっくりと動いている最中に敏感に反応した。特に頭の傷のところで。彼女いわく、未だにエネルギーの流れと血液の流れがその周辺で妨げられている。手術後に何が起こってきたかを一部始終見てきた経験上、用意に理解できることだ。
Around my scar on forehead, she treated me for some time to let the wave with the same frequency from the instrument as mine to meet mine. It was quite interesting, I started to get headache or the feeling of being gently pressed inside some time later as I used to have very often in the past and I felt some warmth all around my head.
The source of pain / feeling of being pressed started to go around from my right forehead where I had the sharpest peak on the instrument and passed through my right temple where I still feel almost numb partly. Then it went further to the back of the head where I sometimes tension when I get very tired until on the left side of my head where I usually do not have any pain. And it repeated twice, so it went around my brain twice clockwise within 3 or more hours.
額の傷痕の周りを、彼女は傷の辺りの組織が持っているのと同じ周波数のシグナルを当ててくれた。それから少しして、頭痛と頭の中で何かしら抑えられているような感覚、以前からよく知っているものだが、それが始まって、頭全体が熱っぽい感じを受けた。その痛みと抑えられているような感覚を感じる部分が、計器が一番反応した右の額から始まって、今でも一部感覚がほとんどない右のこめかみ部分、それから疲れると今でも皮膚が突っ張る感じを受ける後頭部、そして今まで痛みを感じたことのない左の額の部分へと移っていった。それが３時間から４時間の間に２周した。
I thought that my body reacted to the input quite sensitively and got fever exactly when I catch a cold. She told me that I showed the reaction very sensitively compared to other patients. After the diagnose I was with her for some hours, it seems that my face looked very differently in a short time. Today, I feel myself quite usual as if there was nothing happened yesterday.
風邪を引いたときに熱が出るように、自分の体が計器からの入力に敏感に反応したのだと思った。他の患者に比べてとても顕著に反応したらしい。診察が終わってさらに数時間一緒にいたが、自分の顔つきが短時間の間にとてもめまぐるしく変わっていたらしい。今日は、昨日何事もなかったかのように普通の感じがする。
I got helpful advice from her, it seems to be very natural for me. It was ten years ago when I decided myself to stop taking a sort of aspirin which asked for doctor to reduce my headache then, and started to take kale juice which made me feel much better in a long run. I have to help my body to cure by himself, not avoid it by antibody or medicine.
彼女からはとても有用なアドバイスをもらった。自身、頭痛をなんとか和らげようと医者に頼んでアスピリンの類を処方してもらっていたが、自分で飲まないことにして青汁を飲み始めようと決めたのが１０年前。長い目で見たらそのおかげでずいぶんよくなった。体が自然に治癒するのを抗体や薬で妨げるのではなく、手助けをしてあげなければ。

Making of Natto 納豆を作ってみる
As same as making tofu, first of all soybeans should bathe for some time. This time in the fridge for a whole day.
豆腐を作るときと同じで、最初は大豆を数時間入浴させる 今回は冷蔵庫の中で丸一日。
Beans soaked water and became bigger :)
水を吸って大きくなっている。
After that use pressure pan to steam beans for about an hour. After that add natto germ to the beans while they are hot. The most important thing to make natto is to clean every thing with boiled water, or you will just get rotten beans ;)
その後、圧力鍋で一時間ほど大豆を蒸す。そのあとは大豆が熱いうちに納豆菌を加える。納豆を作るうえで一番大事なのは、とにかく熱湯でなんでも消毒すること。そうしないとただの腐った豆になってしまう。;)
Put the beans in green house ;) and keep the temperature about 40 degrees, ideal one for fermentation. And just wait for almost about a day.
大豆を温室に入れてあげる ;) それから温度を発酵に適した４０度くらいに保つ。それからはほぼ一日待つのみ。
It smells slightly like "natto" already, put them into fridge to stop fermentation and keep them for a several days. Then the taste will become milder and deeper.
すでにわずかに納豆のにおいがする。冷蔵庫に入れて発酵を止め、そのまま数日間。そうすることであじが滑らかに、深くなる。
Status after 5 days :)

Rainbow Parade 2009 レインボーパレード２００９
There was a parade through the center of Vienna on Saturday.
Main theme of this is as same as the most famous one, Love Parade in Berlin very August. I do not explain it in detail here but you can find out from pictures ;)
Was wonderful for everybody from children to elder people, from women to men and not to forget, in the half ;)
This year will be the 13th year, it seems already to be the tradition in Vienna.
土曜日にウィーンの真ん中でパレードがあった。趣旨としては、8月にベルリンで毎年開かれるラブパレードと同じようなものだが、特に細かい説明はしないので写真から読み取ってもらいたい;) 子供からお年寄り、男性から女性、それに忘れてはならないのはその真ん中の人たちまで、誰もが楽しめるパレードだ。
今年で13回目を迎えるパレード、もうすっかりウィーンの伝統行事として定着した感がある。

Making of Tofu 豆腐を作ってみる
The other day, I found an interesting web site to offer tofu or natto making kit to whom cannot buy that easily. Actually I can buy tofu in Vienna, it costs about 1.5 Euro for 1/4 size of normal Japanese unit. Recently there are some variations available also in supermarket but I know the taste when I used to go to my neighbor tofu master with a bowl, I also want to try by myself and possibly let my friends try that. I bought zaru-dofu (net-tofu), momen-dofu (cotton-tofu) and natto kit, first of all I tried zaru-dofu.
先日ウェブサイトで面白いページを発見。豆腐や納豆の手作りキットを販売している。手軽に日本の味が買えないところに住んでいる人には朗報だ。実際にはウィーンで豆腐を買うことはできるが、1/4丁で1.5ユーロほどする。最近はスーパーでもいろんなバリエーションが買えるようになってきたが、子供のころに近所の豆腐屋さんにボウルを持って買いに行って食べた味を覚えている。それで友達にも是非味わってもらいたかった。それでざる豆腐、木綿豆腐と納豆のキットを注文した。最初にトライしたのはざる豆腐。
As I wrote in my old entry, my friends like Japanese food and do not like Austrian food very much. Some of them already visited Japan and know the food very well. I got everything I need to make tofu including Japanese soybeans for two units. I once thought of doing that by myself by using lemon acid which is easily available at supermarkets, but of course the original recipe should be the best!

I put soybeans in water for about 6 hours. Then beans absorbed enough water inside and got much bigger.
大豆を水につけて6時間ほど。豆は水を吸って大きくなった。
Mix them before I cook on fire further.
鍋で煮る前にミキサーにかける。
Add more water and mixed soy-juice and simmer in a pot for a while.
水を加えて鍋でしばらく煮る。
Take care not to burn and stick to the bottom of the pan, gently agitate the juice.
焦げ付かないようにゆっくりとかき混ぜながら煮る。
Finally filter the juice with a cotton bag to seperate soymilk and the rest. To make tofu, just add magnesium chloride to make tofu. Another rest (okara) was cooked with short seaweed.
最後に木綿の袋に入れて濾し、豆乳とおからに分ける。豆腐を作るにはさらににがり（塩化マグネシウム）を加える。おからはひじきと一緒に調理する。

First trial French 初めてのフランス料理
Yesterday I met my friends and one of them took a new guy from Oslo whom she hosted for his weekend to go to Lenny Kravitz concert held in Vienna. We went to her house in Baden, about 20km northern from the center of Vinna where it is famous for hot springs. Baden means in German bathing.
昨日は友達の一人がオスロからレニー・クラヴィッツのコンサートを見にオスロからやってきた人を連れて来て、友達みんなで集まった。みんなで彼女のウィーンから南に２０ｋｍくらいいったところにある、温泉地として有名なバーデンの、彼女の両親の家に行った。
Another friend, a French girl took some cans of foie gras back from her trip back to France so we were supposed to cook something for a French dinner.
別のフランス人の友達が彼女の帰省先からフォアグラをもって帰ってきたので、今日の晩御飯はフレンチでいこうということになった。
Actually I have never tried to cook French cuisine before except bouillabaisse, I was also somehow curious for that. I have been to France several times but still do not have a clear idea about the cuisine, because I usually prefer lighter taste.
実際フランス料理はブイヤベース以外に作ったことがなかったから、幾分興味があった。フランスに何度も行っているが、これといってフランス料理はこうだというはっきりしたイメージがない。たぶん軽いものが好みだからかもしれないが。
So the menu of the day was
1. salad
2. baguette with foie gras, cheese
3. coq au vine (chicken cooked in red wine) served with rice
4. mousse au chocolat
I cooked coq au vine.
今日のメニューは
１．サラダ
２．バゲットとフォアグラ、チーズ
３．チキンの赤ワイン煮
４．チョコレートムース
で、チキンの赤ワイン煮は僕の担当に。
At her kitchen, actually at the house of her parents, I found very many spices and interesting utensils, I was able to imagine very easily that her mother is a very nice cook.
The recipe was very easy. Grill chicken breast both sides in a pan with butter, then add garic and onion and red wine to simmer for some 10 minutes, then again add mashrooms and herbs. When the chicken is enough cooked, take the soup to make sauce; add starch and parsley (I used coriander instead, I got that in the garden!) and thicken the sauce.
台所で、実際には友達の実家の台所だが、とんでもないたくさんのスパイスに調理器具。彼女のお母さんはとても料理上手なんだろうと容易に想像がつく。
料理はいたって簡単だ。チキンの両面をバターを引いたフライパンでグリルして、それからにんにくとたまねぎを加えて赤ワインを注いで数分弱火で煮込み、その後きのこを加えてさらに数分煮込み、チキンが出来上がったところで汁を取り出して、スターチとパセリ（実際には庭に生えているコリアンダーを使った）を加えてとろみができるまで煮詰める。
It was the gorgious dinner, the cholocate mouse served at last was a punch at belly, all of us get so full and got back home.
とても豪華な夕食になった。最後のチョコレートムースがこれでもかという感じでお腹に効いて、みんなお腹一杯になって家に帰った。

Julian Rachlin concert ユリアン・ラヒリン コンサート
On last Sunday I was in my apartment in Vienna as usual, and was to pick up my friend at Vienna airport who returned from the US after three weeks.
Her plane was planned to land at 8:35, I left my apartment around 7:15. Then I saw my very kind neighbor opened the door and looked for newspaper outside. He invited me for a cup of coffee and asked me, if I would like to come to a concert with him. I did not hear much about the detail, I was just about to leave to pick my friend up and I answered that I would ask my friend and tell him later.
先週の日曜日、いつものようにウィーンのアパートにいた。3週間ぶりにアメリカから帰ってくる友達を迎えにウィーン空港に行く予定でいた。彼女の飛行機は8時35分着の予定で、家を7時15分くらいに出た。ちょうどそのとき、とても親切な隣人が外の新聞を取るのにドアを開けた。彼はコーヒーでもどうかとこちらを誘い、そしてその日一緒にコンサートに行かないかと聞いた。詳しいことは聞かなかったが、友達を迎えに行くところだからあとで友達に聞いてから返事をすると答えた。
I picked her up and came back to my apartment, she looked so tired and still had jet-lag, and she told me that I should go alone. I rang my neibor's door and before I told him that she seemed to be too tired to go to the concert with me, he invited me another cup of coffee. Some of his friends were already there and I saw four people were sitting at the table then.
彼女を迎えに行って一緒にアパートに帰ってきたが、彼女はとても疲れている様子で時差ぼけも残っている様子。彼女は僕１人で行ったらいいという。隣人のドアベルを鳴らし、こちらが彼女は行けそうにないという前に、もう一杯コーヒーはどうかとなかに誘われる。彼の友人が数名もうそこにいた。4人ほどがテーブルに座っているのが見えた。
After some minute talk with them, my neighbor asked me if my friend maybe wanted to have some coffee or tea. I thought of saying good bye soon because I left my friend in my room. But the people there were a little mysterious, I thought it might be also interesting for her, I called her to join in the table even for a short time.
話をしながら数分して、隣人が彼女も何か飲まないかと聞く。彼女を部屋に残してきているからすぐにお暇するつもりだったが、そこにいた人たちはなにやら不思議な人たちで、きっと彼女にも面白いだろうと思って、少しでもいいから思って隣人宅に呼んだ。
The concert would be held at a cloister near the border between Czech Republic, and Roger Moore would be invited as a UNISEF ambassador. And the players are all the best of recent years, so-to-say young talents. After some talk with other guests, she seemed to get motivated to go to the concert even with her jet-lag. I borrowed a white shirt from my neighbor for the concert, she already had some dresses in her suitecase for a special event.
そのコンサートはチェコ国境付近の修道院でおこなわれ、ユニセフ大使としてロジャームーアも招待されているとのこと。それから演奏者はみないわゆる若手のホープと呼ばれている人たち。隣人の友人と話をしているうちに、彼女も時差ぼけもなんのその、どうやらコンサートに興味がわいてきたようだった。コンサート用に隣人から白いワイシャツを拝借した。彼女はスーツケースにそれようのものを何着か持っていた。
Black Mercedez Van was ready to drive us to the cloister in Pernegg, we left the center of Vienna around 13:00 and it took about two and a half hours from the center of Vienna. We arrived at a hotel by the cloister, from the room I saw just forest, and very far away some roads where cars were seldom seen. After the concert we moved to the hotel for a dinner party, many TV cameras were ready for shooting. We took meals and enjoyed eating and talking with people with whom we drove together whom we just got to know 6 hours before.

OPEL belongs to Magna マグナのオペル買収
Last Friday there was a public announcement that the company will be sold to Magna, Austro-Canadian automotive supplier after the long negotiation between GM, OPEL, German government and candidates supposed to buy the company. It came to the conclusion just before official GM's insolvency publication this Monday.
先週の金曜日、オペルが、ＧＭ、オペル、ドイツ政府とそして資金提供候補企業の間で行われた長い交渉の後に、オーストリア・カナダ籍の自動車部品サプライヤーのマグナに売却されることが正式に発表になった。それはＧＭの破綻発表を次の月曜日に控えた直前の出来事だった。

The number of car sales in Western countries has already hit the limit, so as in Japan.
